How it works with what you already run.
- 01
Set the milestones
Funder and grantee agree what each tranche pays for, such as 20 roofs repaired or 2,000 seedlings planted, and what each capture must show.
- 02
Capture as the work is done
Field staff capture each output from a link as it's finished, so the evidence builds up during the grant, not at report time.
- 03
Check it under the funder's policy
Each output is checked against the agreed checklist. The funder's versioned policy decides, and anything unclear goes to a person.
- 04
Spot-check what matters most
For high-value milestones, the funder can add a visit by someone nearby with no stake in the grantee.
- 05
Release the tranche
When the outputs behind a tranche pass, the funder has a receipt for each one and releases the next payment. The grantee sees the same record.
What it proves, and what we won't do.
- What we won't do
- We don't hold or move grant money. The funder releases each tranche from its own accounts, on its own approval.
- We prove countable physical outputs. We don't score program quality or long-term outcomes.
- The people served are never the subject of a capture, and faces are covered by default.
- In early access: we run it with design partners, starting with one funder and a few of its grantees.
