Anchoring is included with every task. What you pay for is security: a Bonded proof's coverage is sized to the money that depends on it.
| Line | What it covers | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Verified by Teleport | Signed and stored by Teleport, not publicly anchored. By account agreement only. | Included |
| Independently anchored (default) | Signed receipt in a daily batch on Base, with a batch-level bond. | Included |
| Bonded proof | Anchored within the hour, with collateral sized to the value at stake, a challenge window and an attestation pack. | $1.00 + 0.10% of coverage |
| Upgrade to Bonded proof | For an existing receipt. Coverage applies from the upgrade's anchor date. | Same as Bonded proof |
| Independent review | A second, independent verifier's own decision. Required for High assurance. | From $0.50 per claim |
| Verify-only intake | Checking evidence that wasn't captured through Teleport. | From $2.00 per task |
| Enterprise and volume | Committed volume, custom policies and integrations. | Custom |
Coverage and caps
Coverage = the value at stake × the tier multiplier. The value at stake is the task price or the money you declare depends on the proof, whichever is larger. The percentage part of the fee is capped per proof.
| Tier | Multiplier | Cap on the 0.10% part |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1.0× | $500 |
| Verified | 1.5× | $500 |
| High assurance | 3.0× | $1,500 |
Example: a $200,000 construction draw at Verified has $300,000 of coverage and a $301.00 Bonded proof fee. High assurance is planned and not live at launch.
Billing rules
- The requester pays. Fees are never deducted from performer pay.
- Fees are charged only when the batch is final, and refunded if it is invalidated or a signer is slashed.
- Teleport policy raises a task to a Bonded proof when its receipt releases funds held by someone other than the requester, or its declared value is above $25,000 (proposed). It never lowers one.
The Bonded proof fee, paid in $PORT.
Work is always paid in USD or USDC. Bonded-proof fees can optionally be paid in $PORT, the network's security asset, at a published, declining discount.
Not liveThe $PORT fee option launches only after counsel sign-off, with this schedule, its start date, the price methodology and Teleport's treasury policy published first.
Discount schedule
| Period | Discount on the Bonded proof fee |
|---|---|
| Months 1–12 | 50% |
| Months 13–24 | 25% |
| Month 25 onward | 10% |
Start date: months are counted from general availability of Bonded proofs, which hasn't happened yet. The date will be published here in advance.
Fee only. The discount applies to the Bonded proof fee and nothing else: not independent review, verify-only intake or the task price. It never changes coverage, tier, signers or the challenge window. The proof's security is identical however the fee is paid.
Monthly cap. Up to $10,000 of discount per account per calendar month (proposed).
Price methodology. Fees are priced in USD. When paid in $PORT, the amount is set from a 24-hour time-weighted average price across at least three published venues. Each quote is valid for 15 minutes.
Who can use it. Agents can pay on Base, per receipt or from a prepaid balance. A machine requester can use it only if its mandate allows it. Card, invoice and USDC payers pay the USD fee. No requester or performer ever has to hold $PORT.
Verifiers aren't paid less. External co-verifiers always receive the full undiscounted value of their share. Teleport absorbs the discount.
Treasury policy. $PORT that Teleport receives goes to its own collateral, co-verifier onboarding, and watcher and challenge budgets. Any sale follows a pre-announced schedule. Holdings and flows are reported quarterly, alongside the Proof Remediation Reserve. The policy and the latest quarterly report will be linked here before the option goes live.
Everything else is USD or USDC. Work, performer pay and every other fee are payable only in USD or USDC.
Why $PORT, and who else uses it: read about the proof network's security asset.
Draft rates from PORT Proof Security Protocol v0.3 §6 and TAP v0.3.1 §13, illustrative until confirmed in your agreement. $PORT is the network's security asset, not payment for work and not an investment offer. Nothing here is a statement about token price.
